Stretching at Home

During these unprecedented times, while many people are working from home, there are still great opportunities for healthy habits!

In your new work-from-home schedule, allow yourself moments to stretch and move your body. When you sit for long periods of time, you may experience joint stiffness, muscle aches, or pain in your shoulders, back and neck. Help reduce these pains, increase your range of motion, and boost your energy levels by including regular stretches throughout your day.

To support you while you work from home at this time, Ebix is sharing videos that will help you complete these stretches properly. Simply follow along to the videos.

We recommend the following stretches be done several times a day.  These typically take about 1 minute and will include small movement stretches, primarily for your shoulders, neck and back. 

We recommend the following stretches be done several times a day.  These will include larger movement stretches for your entire body. It is recommended to do these movements 2-3 times each day.

Stretches should never be forced or feel painful, but should allow you to move gently through your range of motion.  Please check with your health care provider before starting any new exercise program to ensure that you can participate safely.
